Jimi Hendrix - More Electricity From NewportRecorded live on June 20, 1969 at the Newport Pop Festival at Devonshire Downs in Northridge,California. This is the next to last show that Jimi would play with the original Experience lineup.The last Official concert with Noel Redding would come nine days later in Denver, Colorado, at the Denver Pop Festival on the 29th. Jimi did make a second appearance at Newport Pop on the 22nd, but this was a jam with Eric Burdon, Buddy Miles, and Mother Earth. The last two tracks on this disc is Jimi's appearance on the Dick Cavett Show, ABC-TV in July, 1969. The sound quality is good to very good but does contain quite a bit of hiss on the concert portion of the disc.
