The Cherokee Mist/In from the Storm medley is 06:29 in length,
a little more or less depending on mastering speed. there
is then a false start for Valleys, only about 00:03.
The complete version of Valleys that's on some versions times to about
04:22 additional. I don't think I've ever heard the false start followed
by the complete take, leading me to think it's not really a medley
with the first part, but has been added on by some bootleggers.
Ben Franklin does give this separate timing (04:16) for Valleys,
which makes it pretty clear that the 06:34 is for the first two
songs only but it might be a little misleading to some people,
making them think the 06:34 is for all 3 songs. maybe the 3rd edition
(don’t hold your breath!!) should add a few words to explain :-) DOUG BELL July 2003
